Galapagospronto
── about

A small team in Quito with strong opinions about Galapagos yachts.

We are nine people, three of us full-time naturalists, all based in Quito. We don't run boats — we know every boat. Forty live-aboard yachts are on our books across twenty-eight different operators, and we have sailed each itinerary in person before adding it to the catalogue.

We exist because the right yacht for you isn't always the most expensive one — it's the one with the itinerary you actually wanted. Telling people that for free is the whole business model.

── how it started

Sara guided Galapagos cruises for eleven years before founding Galapagos Pronto in 2014. She started the business after watching one too many travellers arrive on a vessel mismatched for what they actually wanted: families on diving boats, solo birdwatchers on party catamarans.

Today she's joined by Mateo (cruise ops), Camila (land tours), and a network of naturalist guides who write us weekly about which boats are running well and which are slipping. If a boat slips, it leaves the list.

── what we believe

The right boat for you is the one with the itinerary you actually wanted.

01

We sail every vessel.

Before a boat enters our catalog, we spend at least one full itinerary on board. If a boat changes hands, refits poorly, or starts cutting corners, we drop it. No yacht is "too important to remove."

02

Best price guarantee.

Find the same cabin cheaper anywhere — aggregator, operator direct, anywhere — and we will match it within 48 hours or refund the difference.

03

Licensed naturalists.

Every itinerary in the catalogue is led by Galapagos National Park certified guides. We share their names with you in writing before you book — and we tell you which guides are exceptional.

04

No platform fees, ever.

You pay the operator price. Our commission is paid by the boats. We never mark up, and the moment the operator runs a promo, the new price is what you see — even on bookings already made.
